The handle is made from natural bamboo -- the fastest growing plant in the world, and thus our fastest naturally renewing resource.
The bristles are 63% derived from plant while the remaining % is nylon-6. Please note that there are currently no other options for an entirely plant-based bristle anywhere in the world and every other natural toothbrush has this same issue. The only other option would be to use animal hair as a completely natural solution; however, we will NEVER do this.
The paint on the handles is certified as non-carcinogenic, resin-based, which is eco-friendly.
